2/206 Crookwood Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse. Early C18, and late C18-early C19. Diaper brick,
with long straw thatch. Central 2-bay structure, to which 2 wide
bays in English bond are added to left, with porch, and 'L'-shaped
wing to right, probably early C19. Half glazed door within open
timber framed porch with tiled roof. C19 timber casement windows.
Rear wall without windows, but single window in right extension.
Pantiled lean-to covered way over secondary entrance in right
extension. To rear, earthwork remains of mill. Roofing thatch
grown on the farm.
