Farmhouse. C17 and late C18. Timber framed, partly rebuilt in
brick, now colourwashed. Thatched roof. Two storeys, 2½ bays with
cross wing beyond major stack forming an 'L' plan. Framing
confined to central bay only with outer posts only of right bay.
Four panels high with corner braces. Entrance in C20 lean-to on
front of wing. Various timber windows. Roof hipped, with brick
stack and 2 added stacks. Described as newly built in 1677 in
deeds.
