9/203 Vine Cottage

GV II

Cottage. C17. Timber framed with colourwashed brick noggings and
thatched roof. Single storey and attic, 2 bays with lean-to at
west end. Framing 3 panels high with straight corner braces and
wall plate oversailing and chamfered, the timbers numbered from the
east. South front largely rebuilt in 1970's with porch to left bay
containing entrance and C20 windows. Two flush paned dormers on
north side and gable stacks. Interior not seen, said to have
inglenook.
