Public House, c.1600 with C18 and C19 alterations. 2 storeys and attics.
Timber-framed and pebble-dashed. Plaintiled roof with one C20 casement
dormer, and an end chimney of red brick. C19 sashes with large panes, and two
C18 or early C19 casements at 1st storey. 4-panelled C19 entrance door, the
upper pair glazed. Some late C16 or early C17 framing exposed internally; a
blocked diamond-mullioned window, and heavy unchamfered floor joists (the
latter may represent an earlier core). The left hand section was probably
rebuilt in C18.
