House, C17. One storey and attics. 2-cell lobby entrance plan. Timber-
framed and plastered; the front wall largely rebuilt c.1985 in plastered
masonry. Gable walls clad with C19 weatherboarding. Thatched roof with C17
axial chimney of red brick. Late C20 gabled lattice porch replicating C19
original. Plain framing partially exposed. Joists laid flat in one room
(with jewelled chamfer stops to main beam), and on-edge in other. Back-to-
back altered lintelled fireplaces. Clasped purlin roof.
