House, now office. Probably early C17 with mid-to late C17 addition, partly
rebuilt in the early to mid-C19. Timber framed, partly rebuilt in red
brick. Slate roof. L-plan. 2 framed bays with probably later wing of
one bay at rear. 2 storeys. Dentil brick eaves cornice. Central brick
ridge stack and integral brick corner stack to rear wing. Pair of first-
floor boxed 4-pane sashes (without horns). Late C19 shop-front consisting of a pair
of plate-glass windows, pair of central recessed glazed doors, set-back half-
glazed door to side passage at right, and deep fascias above. Rear:
framed rear wall. Gable end of wing has exposed collar and tie-beam truss
with queen struts. Interior only partly inspected-. Rear wing has
chamfered beam with ogee stops, and corner fireplace.
