Two houses, latterly shops, now shop. Late C16 or early C17, remodelled in the mid to late C19. Timber framed on brick plinth with brick and plastered infill rendered to front and rear (painted in imitation of framing to front). Slate and plain tile roof.

Framing: square panels, four from sole plate to wall plate. Three framed bays. Two storeys. Brick ridge stack off-centre to left and integral brick end stack to right. Three window front; first floor mid to late C19 two- and three-light wooden casements. Pair of C19 shop-fronts, that to right with plate-glass window, half-glazed door to left and pilastered surround with fascia, and that to left with two plate-glass windows, half-glazed panelled door to left, and pilastered surround with fascia. Carriageway to left with pair of boarded doors. Lean-to addition at rear.

Interior only partly inspected. Ground floor rooms have chamfered beams with ogee stops and open fireplace to right with chamfered ogee-stopped lintel. First floor rooms with chamfered beams. C17 panelled door at top of stairs with H-hinges. Collar and tie-beam roof trusses and pairs of purlins. The first floor is said to contain C17 panelling beneath later wall coverings (not noted at time of survey - November 1986).
