House now three dwellings. C17, modified and extended early C19, converted 1987.
Ashlar facade; coursed, squared stone with ashlar dressings to rear. Front range
has Welsh slates to front roof pitches, asbestos tiles to rear; rear range has clay
pantile roof. L-plan: north (rear) wing (No 3) C17, south (front) cross wing (Nos 1
and 2) an extension in villa style. 2 storeys, south facade 3 bays. Plinth, band
course, rusticated quoins. Central bay has round-arched, beaded and imposted former
doorway, now blocked and with window under plain fanlight. 16-pane sash windows
in plain surrounds with keyed lintels, right-hand bay having early C20 bay window
with plain sashes and hipped slate roof to ground floor. Hipped, oversailing roof
with brick stack to right end. Rear: blocked central doorway flanked by 1987 door-
ways; central lst-floor window with early C20 stained glass and timber lintel.
On left, one bay link with 1987 windows, that on 1st floor retaining timber lintel.
Projecting from this is the 2-bay C17 range;- C20 board door to right in lean-to
conservatory; two 2-light mullioned windows on ground floor, that to left ovolo-
moulkded in wave-moulded recess, that to right chamfered-moulded in chamfered
recess, windows rectangular-leaded casements; 1987 windows to 1st floor with con-
crete lintels. Early C20 single-storey bay further left roof of special interest.
No 4 Cranleigh Court attached to rear and built in 1987 not included in listing.

Detached House. C17, modified and extended in early C19. Ham stone ashlar facade, cut and squared work with ashlar
dressings behind; hipped Welsh slate roof with wide eaves overhang to south crosswing, clay pantiled roof with stepped
coped north gable; brick chimney stacks. 'L'-plan, with the northwards wing of C17, and south crosswing an extension in
a villa style: 2-storeys, south facade of 3 bays. Plinth, band course, rusticated quoins: 16-pane sash windows in plain
openings with keystoned labels, but lower bay 3 has an early C20 angled bay window with plain sashes and hipped slate
roof: lower bay 2 has a beaded semi-circular arched surround with imposts to recess with C19 part-glazed door with
plain fanlight over. Matching one-bay link to rear, with sash window below and 3-light leaded casement above, then the
2-bay C17 block: below, two 2-light mullioned windows, the left ovolo-mould in wave-mould recess, the right
chamfer-mould in chamfered recess, no labels, rectangular leaded; above two 3-light casements with timber lintels, of
early pattern with iron-framed opening light, rectangular-leaded: plain doorway to lower bay 2 protected by lean-to
conservatory which extends westward to C19 block. Interior not seen.
