Cottage. C17, with C20 additions and alterations. Timber-framed, rendered
infill, tiled, external brick chimney with tiled offsets and detached stack
at west gable end. Two framed bays and one brick bay; single storey and
attic with continuous C20 dormer of 3 windows: Framing: 3 square panels
from sill to wall-plate, short straight braces in upper corners of gable
ends, some long straight braces in lower corners of rear wall-frame, queen
strut truss with V-struts to apex above collar exposed in west gable end.
Front elevation: C20 casements throughout; casement in left bay, casement
in outshut in right bay, continuous flat-roofed dormer with 3 casements,
central part-glazed brick porch and part-glazed C20 door. Attic lights
in gable ends; also inglenook light at west gable end. Interior Roof
has intermediate queen strut truss and single, trenched purlins. Large C20
2 storey rear extension.
