Former chimney, engine house, stables and stores, now derelict. Mid C19.
Rubble. Chimney of square plan, approximately 12 metres high, with circular
hole at base, and cornice at top. Large engine house partially below road
level, with round-arched openings. Adjacent stable and stores building with
timber roof structure. Engine house for pumping engine in lead mine shaft.
After closure of Keldheads Mine in late C19 buildings converted for use by
nearby quarry, chimney then serving coal-fired electricity generating plant.
