6/73 Stables near Hell Gill

3 stable buildings. Late C19. Rubble, stone slate roofs. Each building is
circular in plan, and they are evenly spaced in a line, approximately 50
metres apart. Single storey. Each stable has, facing south, a door with an
ashlar surround with imposts, flanked by 2 small windows. Conical roofs
with ball finials at apexes. The outer 2 buildings have a detached outer
wall approximately 3 metres away from stable, entered by a south doorway as
before, and with a small recess to the north. Used by stallions serving
mares.
