piers to Old Hall

GV II

Walls and gate piers to courtyard, 1925. Walls are of banded ashlar with
plain coping. Gate piers are rusticated and have slim pilasters on their
inner faces which terminate in small consoles. The piers terminate in a
cornice and large ball finials. Similar piers mark the outer limits of
the well.
