of Old Hall

Summer house in garden of old hall: c1930, by Goodhart Rendel. It
consists of a rear screen wall, and a lean-to shelter. Screen wall is
ashlar, and has 2 piers sumanted by urns on either side of the building,
and a section of flanking wall to each side, with curving cornice string
course and coped piers at each end. The building itself is fronted in
wood and glass: Central glazed double doors, with carved shaft separating
them from amny paned, ½-height windows. The side walls are of stone,
and terminate in slim piers carrying decorative consoles. The lean-to
roof is of blue pantiles.
