West elevation. The cream coloured render on the chimney stacks matches the garden-facing east elevation, whose parapet can be seen to the left of the photo. Under the pyramid shaped roof is the service wing. Its wide, lower window is a triple sash. To the right, the main house of three bays has two shallow bows of full height and the hipped roof is curved to accomodate these. Further right, full width against the rendered south wall of the house, is a hothouse with glass walls and roof. To the west is another building, with a pattern of rectangles in the upper part of its windows. The setts (square cobbles) to the courtyard are preserved, and run past the detached stable block on the extreme left of the picture. (Photo May 2009).
