House and adjoining workshop, now a house. Late C17 and C19,
restored 1987. Brick and timber framing with brick nogging and
thatched roofs. Blue brick plinth. 2 restored coped gables.
Single corner and single gable brick stacks. Single storey plus
attics, 4 bays. South front has a slightly off-centre panelled
C19 door with chamfered lintel, flanked on either side by single
3 light sliding sashes with segmental heads. To the right, former
workshop with C20 3 light casement and beyond, to right, a C19
close boarded door. Box framed rear wall has a central C20 door,
flanked to left by a small casement, and to the right by a 2
light casement and beyond, a small casement. To the left,
workshop has a 3 light casement, and to the right, beaded plank
door. Rough cast west gable has on each floor an approximately
central C20 casement, that above with segmental head. East gable
has to right, a small fixed light. Above to right, a small C20
casement. Exposed principal rafter, collar and V strut.
Interior has to east, a stud wall with wattle and daub nogging
and 2 plank doors, that to left leading to an early C19 winder
stair with square newel and stick balusters. Roof has curved
principal rafters and re-used collars. Remaining rooms have
chamfered span beams and 3 plank doors.
