Cottage. Late C17. Timber framed on painted rubblestone plinth
and with rendered infill panels; left-hand end wall in painted coursed
rubblestone and others partly rebuilt; graded slate roof. 2 framed
bays, end lobby-entry plan. One storey and attic. Integral brick end
stack to right; central small roof-light. South front: central
2-light wooden casement, boarded door to right. 2-light attic
casements in gable ends; right-hand end has exposed collar and tie-
beam truss with queen struts. One-storey lean-to addition in front
to left; painted coursed rubble with plain tile roof; boarded door
in right-hand return front. One-storey timber-framed lean-to to
right with corrugated asbestos roof and C20 two-light wooden casement
to front. Interior: central collar and tie-beam truss with queen-
struts; single purlins; large open fireplace with chamfered lintel.
