Farmhouse. Early C19, possibly incorporating an earlier core, with
mid-to late C19 additions. Painted brick with rendered left-hand
end wall; red brick and coursed yellow sandstone rubble additions;
plain tile roof. L-plan. One storey and attic and 2 storeys.
Moulded brick eaves cornice; 3 brick stacks at rear. 4 bays,
glazing bar sashes; door in second bay from right with 6 flush
panels (top 2 glazed), reeded impost band, radial fanlight,
panelled reveals and soffit,and surround with panelled pilasters;
cast iron Gothic porch (very similar to one on Lower Winnington
Farmhouse, Wollaston C.P.) with quatrefoil decoration, interlacing
frieze, and moulded cornice. 2 parallel gabled wings at rear, one
with dovecote in gable end. Interior not inspected but likely to
