Farmhouse. Probably early C18 with later additions and alterations.
Uncoursed limestone rubble, graded slate roof. Original 2-cell plan
with bay to right added in early C19 (see straight joint to rear).
One storey and attic; windows to left and right of gabled timber porch with
boarded inner and outer doors, late C19 metal casement to left and C20
casement to right, both with inserted stone lintels; gabled eaves dormers
directly above and another to right, also with metal casement, above subsidiary
door; large integral end stack to left with dripstones and C19 red brick
ridge stack (possibly formerly an end stack) to right. Interior: chamfered
spine beams and joists to 2 main ground-floor rooms; partly infilled
inglenook fireplace to left. Mid-C19 outbuilding attached to right
is not of special architectural interest.
