House, latterly inn then post office, now reverted to domestic accommodation. Late C17 with later additions and alterations. Limewashed uncoursed limestone rubble, graded slate roof.
One storey and attic; three late C19 casements to ground floor and gabled half-dormers with metal casements directly above; two boarded doors alternate with ground-floor windows, right with glazed panel inserted, now behind late C20 brick and glass porch (not of special architectural interest); external end stack to left and internal end stack to right, both with red brick shafts and toothed capping. Short, probably contemporary range at right-angles to rear on left.
Interior: not inspected but likely to be of interest.
