Uploader's Comments

The earlier of two images taken by Aerofilms of Watford Boys' Grammar School during the interwar years and uploaded by Historic England/English Heritage. This photo was taken just prior to the construction of the extension of the East Wing in 1928 to accommodate the extra number of pupils. This addition is clearly visible in the accompanying shot of the school, which was taken in April 1935. John Swain, Watford BGS 1954-61 and Historic England Contributor 2012-.
