GV II

House. C16 or earlier E crosswing, C18 or earlier W range with C18
gambrel roof. Timber frame on stuccoed sill, roughcast with white
weatherboarded apron. Old red tile roofs. A 1 1/2 storeys house facing S
with a 2 storeys E crosswing with a side-jetty on E beside road. A
3-cells internal chimney plan house with cross-passage at E end of W
range passing behind the stack. C18 or C19 red brick internal gable
chimneys inserted at W end and at rear of crosswing. 3 windows long
front with 2 2-light boxed dormer windows at eaves, 3-light flush
casement windows, and 2-light similar windows to 1st floor of crosswing
end at W part. Half-glazed flush-panelled door in moulded surround with
small hood on shaped brackets. The older E crosswing is set at an angle
to the W range, and it has 3 heavy chamfered brackets below the jetty.
C17 plank door inside with moulded muntins. (Bailey (1980)16).
