This view of Frogmore House was taken in the 1940s from the Lower High Street, Watford. Appropriately enough, it used to be owned by the local gasworks and the architectural details on this fine Georgian building of Listed Grade II* status were added just after this photograph was taken. It is currently being renovated for residential use (flats). Photo courtesy of the Terry Trainor Collection.
