Cottage. Late C17 with later additions and alterations. Timber framed
with plaster infill on uncoursed limestone rubble plinth and right-
hand gable end re-built in similar rubblestone, thatched roof. 2-cell
plan. One storey and attic; framing: 2 rectangular panels from
cill to wall-plate, V-struts from collar to left gable end; 2 late
C20 casements to front with eyebrow dormer above to right; C20 boarded
door also to right; integral end stack to right with projecting domed
red brick and rubblestone bread oven. Interior: not inspected but
noted as having timber frame substantially intact on ground floor,
including cross wall. Late C20 flat-roofed extensions to left and
rear not of special architectural interest.
