at Belswardyne Hall

Stable block, now garage/stores. Late C18, extended late C19. Red
brick, machine tile roof. 2 levels, originally consisting of central
gabled break with flanking wings, left with blind elliptical arch and
right with segmental arch (now with C20 double doors); late C19
extension to right also has segmental arch, now blocked and with
C20 casement inserted; central gable has round-headed doorway with
tympanum and gauged brickwork over flanking fixed-light windows,
similar round-headed doorway above. Interior: C19 stable boxes to
gabled section. Included for group value.
