Barn. C17, early C19 lean-to shelter shed on W side. Timber
frame weatherboarded on tarred red brick plinth. Steep pitched
roof now of corrugated aluminium. 5-bay tall barn facing E with
gabled porch on W, opposed double doors in middle bay and high
pitching doors in 2nd and 4th bays on E. Jowled posts with mid-
height rails between, jointed in-line. Straight braces to tie-
beams. Queen-strut-and-collar angle-braced trusses with 2
clasped-purlins to each slope. Straight tension braces in walls.
3-bay timber framed shelter shed as lean-to on W to N of porch.
