House. Early C18. Timber frame on stuccoed plinth, roughcast
with some weatherboarding on N gable. Old red tile gambrel roof.
A 2-storeys, attic and cellar house, set back from road, facing
E. A 2-room plan house with central chimney backing onto
entrance passage and large lean-to on S end. 2 windows to each
floor. 3-light flush box sash windows with glazing bars. 4-
panel door under C19 tiled gable porch. Casement windows in
gables light attics. Small former shop lean-to on N end with
pantiled roof, weatherboarded front with C19 shop window and
boarded door, and red brick N flank wall. Picturesque prominent
building next junction. Formerly The Bull and Magpie PH.
