GV II

House. C17 or early C18, refronted in C19. Timber frame
roughcast with red brick sill stuccoed on W and N. Rear part
weatherboarded. Steep old red tile roofs, half hipped to N and
S. 2 storeys, cellar and attics 3-unit plan house facing W.
Large central chimney 1/3 from N end (top rebuilt in C18), and
small later external gable chimneys at each end. Symmetrical
front with 3 gabled casement dormers on roof slope, 3 flush sash
windows to upper floor. Central, panelled and glazed double
doors in heavy moulded frame with flat moulded hood on curved
brackets with pendants. Triple-sash windows with labels under
outer 1st floor windows, and narrow sash windows with labels
flanking the door. One and a half storeys C18 rear extension at
NE plastered tiled.
