House, now 2 houses. C17, gothicsed and divided in mid C19.
Timber frame plastered on a high plinth faced in knapped flint
with brick dressings. Steep red tiled roof with twin gabled
projections in middle of S side. A picturesque 2-storeys
building, set back from road on higher ground, facing S. Large
shared central chimney with diagonal shafts. Pierced wavy
bargeboards to gables. Small 2-light and 3-light bracketed oriel
windows with elongated lozenge shaped panes and tiled small lean-
to roofs.
