4/42 Evergreen Cottage

II

Originally several cottages, now one house. Early C19.
Rubble stone with Cotswold stone slate roof. 'L' shape with small
extension in angle. South east wing has 3 gables and 2 stone ridge
stacks, south west wing has 2 gable stacks and one ridge stack.
All stacks in ashlar with moulding and cornice. 2 storeys and
attic. South east front has 5 windows, pointed with single light,
in wood. One similar style window in each gable but in iron and
latticed. Ground floor has 6 similar windows with door towards
right hand side between windows 4 and 5. South west front has 4
windows on 1st floor, 5 on ground floor, all in same style as south

One opening has been partially blocked on right hand side to form
an extra (wider) window, and the door itself appears to have been
