Memorial fountain. Dated 1875, by William Burges for Sir J.M.
Steele Graves. Grey, ashlar sandstone. Pointed gable with inset
Gothic arch, rear of inset decorated with three roundels of white
marble, possibly by Woolmer. The central roundel shows the arms of
the Graves family, the other two the carved heads of the patron and
his daughter Mrs. Bowen Graves. Lion head spout with memorial
inscription either side, below inset arch. The grandest of three
sources of piped water in the village. All constructed under the
patronage of Sir J.M. Steele Graves
