II

House (shown as Cotswold House on 1:2500 O.S. Map). Early C18.
Coursed ashlar. Roof: grey slate on slope to road, limestone on
other side, hipped on right. Flat limestone coping on left gable
end with roll-cross saddle. C20 ashlar stack near left end,
another off centre right near ridge. Brick stack near eaves, off
centre left, at front. Main body one room deep, extended back at
rear, off-centre left. 2 storeys, 4-windowed, 2, 3 and 4-light
flat-chamfered stone mullioned casements with stopped hoods, metal
windows, one with horizontal glazing bars. Painted C19 studded
door with cover strips, up 3 stone steps in 4-centred arched
surround, off centre left.
