House. 1526. Timber framed, plastered with framing exposed on first floor
front, rear and end walls weatherboarded, roofed with handmade red plain tiles.
Long-jetty range to street. 2 storeys. Ground floor, one early C19 sash of 16
lights, 2 C20 equivalents. First floor, 3 early C19 sashes of 4 + 8 lights.
6-panel door, the top 2 panels glazed. Bressumer of jetty carved with running
vine motif, with the De Vere molet in the middle. Serpentine 'Suffolk' bracing
trenched outside studs above. Most of the frame is exposed internally, with
moulded beams and joists, jowled posts, cambered tiebeams and crownpost roof.
