Barn. C17/early C18, extended in C19. Timber framed, weatherboarded, roofed
with handmade red clay tiles and corrugated iron. 7 bays aligned approx. E-W
with midstrey to S. Lean-to extension to E of midstrey, forming a catslide with
it. C19 4-bay extension to W with another midstrey, and catslide to E of
midstrey. Lean-to extension between the midstreys, roofed with red clay 'Roman'
tiles. Lean-to extension to W of W midstrey, roofed with corrugated iron. Both
midstreys and their catslides are roofed with handmade red clay tiles. The main
roof is partly tiled, but repaired with red clay pantiles and corrugated iron;
the 4-bay extension is wholly roofed with corrugated iron. Plinth of red brick
in English bond. Face-halved and bladed scarfs in wallplates. Arched braces to
straight tiebeams, some replaced by bolted knees. Primary straight bracing.
Gambrel roof with queen struts, side purlins, and collars in upper pitch.
