TL 78 35 CASTLE HEDINGHAM FALCON SQUARE

Cottage. C16 or earlier origin with later alterations and additions. Timber
framed and plastered. Red plain tiled roof with two gabled dormers. Rear left
and front right red brick chimney stacks. 1 storey and attics. 4 window range
of square leaded 2 and 3 light casements. C20 vertically boarded door to left.
To the right is a single storey red tiled lean-to extension incorporated into
the red brick dressed flint garden wall. The building was at one time used
as an almshouse.
