Church of St. Nicholas War Memorial Cross in South East corner of churchyard approx. 30 metres south east of chancel

War memorial cross. C12 or earlier carved shaft and base. Discovered in the
cellar of the Falcon Inn 1921 and incorporated into memorial design by P.M.
Johnson. The shaft is tapered and carved on 4 sides with bosses on the
chamfered edges. Carved square base. Surmounted by a C20 cross. Mentioned
RCHM 12.
