A range of C18 yellow brick houses, possibly incorporating an earlier
structure. 2 storeys. 6 window range double-hung sashes with glazing
bars, in flush eased frames. The doorways have wood doorcases, No 56
has a reeded architrave and cornice and Nos 58 and to have pilasters
and cornices. Nos 56 and 60 have 6 panel doors. Roof tiled (old Cambridgeshire
tiles).
Nos 20, 22, 22A, Nos 20 to 30 (even), Nos 34, 36, 36A, 38, Nos 40 to 60 (even)
form a group with Nos 13 to 29 (odd) & 29A, Parson's Almhouses & Nos 1 to
5 (odd) Downham Road.
Also Nos 20, 22, 22A, Nos 24 to 30 (even), 34, 36, 36A, 38, Nos 40 to 60 (even)
Nos 13 to 29 (odd) & 29A, Parson's Almshouses form a group with No 20 Church Lane
and the Parish Church of St Mary.
