13/25 Low Hall Farmhouse and
attached outbuilding

Farmhouse and attached outbuilding. Mid-late C18; raised, altered and
extended in C19. Squared sandstone front with coursed rubble sandstone to
sides and rear; pantile roof and brick stacks. Originally central-stairhall
plan, later extended to left; 2 gabled service wings to rear. 2-storey, 4-
window front with quoins, with single-storey outbuilding to left. C20
glazed door to centre right and 4-pane sashes with painted stone sills
throughout. Painted tooled lintels with keyblocks to all openings. Stepped
eaves course. Coped gable and shaped kneelers. End and centre left stacks.
Outbuilding: herringbone-tooled quoins to front. 4 cart arches to rear, now
blocked with stable doors in glazed partition incorporating pig troughs.
Byre to end left, with plank door and timber lintel.
