A large C16 timber-framed house refronted in the C18 or early C19 in gault
brick, 2 storeys. 5 window range, mainly 3 light gothic arched casements
without glazing bars. The doorway has stucco pilasters and a cornice.
The west end has a 3-light oriel window on the lst storey. The interior
has good moulded and carved beams and a mediaeval chimney stack with an.
open pargetted round flue.
Egremont House and Nos 30 & 31 form a group.
