House. Early - mid C19. Coursed squared grey gritstone and rubble,
graduated stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 x 2 bays. Quoins. Gabled front
has central C20 porch with glazed door, flanking and first-floor sashes
with glazing bars in slightly projecting plain stone surrounds, a small 4-
pane window to apex. Inturned kneelers and projecting gable coping. Large
4-flue stack to rear gable. One of several buildings in the village in
which the gable has much architectural detail (e.g. Holly Tree farmhouse
and barn, Manor House outbuilding and coach house), but the only smaller
domestic building and probably later in date. Included for group value.
