Early C19. Footbridge across the western moat, with 2 piers on each bank supporting a
chain system. Red brick with stone caps and ball finials. Between the inner piers
there is a wrought-iron gateway with a scroll overthrow. Flanking low approach walls
enclose 2 steps, and have sculptured greyhounds lying on the coping.
