Beaurepaire Mill Bridge

II

Road bridge over stream. Dated 1831. Cast and wrought-iron with brick and stone abutments. Series five 18ft span elliptically-arched and pierced cast-iron girders supporting plates to take the carriageway. The girders have quatrefoils and elongated cusped imposts. Wrought-iron ballustrades have square panels with intersecting diagonals with small cusps. The parapets over the abutments have been rebuilt in brick. The stream is a tributary of the River Loddon. Hampshire County Council bridge No.247.
