Farmhouse. Late C17 with mid-C19 and some late C20 alterations. Brick
with stone dressings and tile roof. L-plan with ranges extending to south-
east and north-east. The former is the front range with two rooms flanking
stair hall, main stacks on rear of this range, north-west room forming
kitchen (originally). Garden front (south-west): two storeys with gable-
lit attic, stone quoins and string, three windows: two 4-light casements
flank a 3-light casement, all under segmental heads with stone keystones;
ground floor: central entrance has wooden doorcase and flat canopy on
consoles, covered by a C20 flat-roofed conservatory. Interior: ground
floor rear room has C17 small square panelling with frieze; first floor
room to right also has C17 panelling, including an arcaded overmantel.
The hearth is tiled with late C15 Malvern school tiles including a design
inscribed "Sir John Talbot", which are said to have been brought from Grafton.
Staircase C17 with turned balusters and moulded hand rail.
