Farmhouse. 1659 for Nicholas Dunn, with mid-C19 and some mid-C20 alterations,
and extensions. Timber-frame with brick infill and tile roof. T-plan, cross-
wing aligned north/south, other range extending to west. Chimney stack at
junction has four engaged brick shafts. Street (south) front: two-storey
cross-wing to right has a gable-lit attic, two windows: square oriel to left,
canted oriel to right; ground floor: two canted oriels. Inscribed on lintel
of blocked door "N 1659 D". Entrance in opposite (north) front. Framing:
two square panels high with straight tensions over close-studding on ground
floor; gable trusses have two collars and multiple struts.
