Farmhouse, now house. Late C18 with mid-C19 alterations and additions.
Brick on sandstone base; plain tiled roofs with gable-end parapets to
main part; right end and rear stacks. Two storeys and attic with moulded
eaves cornice. Three plus one bays. Main three-bay part has windows with
rusticated lintels; large keyblocks and stone sills; 16-pane sashes in outer
bays, 12-pane central first floor sash. Central entrance has an open pediment,
entablature, fluted pilasters and half-glazed door. Single-bay part adjoins to
right and has a first floor 12-pane sash window. Attic light at right gable end.
Interior : noted as having a dog-leg staircase with moulded wreathed handrail in
central hall. C19 additions to left end and rear with roof parapets.
