(South Side)

16/115 Lordship
Farmhouse
1.12.1951
GV II

Farmhouse, late C18, but probably incorporating an earlier
building. At the rear is a parallel, linked wing also late C18
but of a different building period and to the left hand a small
two-bay range, early C18, and probably an addition to the
original house. Gault brick with tiled, mansard roof and dentil
eaves cornice. Large gault brick ridge stack. Two storeys and
attic. The two dormers and four, large windows are all C20.
The rear wing is also of gault brick with a mansard roof. The
range to the left hand has red brick quoins and banding to grey
brick walls. The roof is steeply pitched and plain tiled. The
two windows at first floor and one on ground floor are all C20.
On a former moated site.
