Farmhouse, now a house. Late C15 with late C16 alterations. Timber-framed
and plastered. Plain tiled roof. Late C17 ridge stack to right of centre
with sawtooth tile and moulded brick cornice. Tarred brick plinth. Two
storeys with attics. Three unit plan with original open hall and chambered
end rooms. North elevation: C19 six-panelled door in lobby entry position
with moulded wooden architrave and flat canopy on shaped brackets. Three
ground floor sixteen-paned hung sash windows rebated for shutters, three
similar first floor windows. Interior: Fireplace to west room, late C16
with leaf-stops to mantel beam and leaf-stop to replacement floor beams.
Sealed late C16 ovolo mullioned window in hall with inserted floor and large

in room to west of brick with four-centred arch, cornice of bull-nosed bricks
and plaster frieze painted with dots and crosses.
