Cottage, now public house, late C17 with C19 addition to left
hand extended and restored at rear. Timber framed, cased in
brick and painted, with steeply pitched roof, now covered with
slates. Original grey gault brick ridge stack and C19 end
stack. Three horizontal sliding sashes, heads flush with
eaves. Three windows at ground floor including two with hung
sashes of sixteen panes each and one horizontal sliding sash.
Lobby entry. Adjoining to the left hand is mid C19 addition of
brick, painted with red pantile roof and small ridge stack. Two
storeys. Two windows at first floor and two at ground floor.
Cartway opening to left hand. Interior: of public house has
abutting inglenooks, one to centre room is larger, other of
clunch rubble and brick.
