Cottage, c.1647 with bay to left hand added mid C20. Timber framed rendered with steeply pitched roof of long straw and grey gault brick ridge stack and end stack. Original plan of three bays and lobby entry. Two storeys. Four windows at first floor including three horizontal sliding sashes. Three similar windows, all shuttered at ground floor and two boarded doors, one opposite the stack.

Interior: has exposed framing and stop chamfered main beams. There are abutting inglenooks, and at first floor two rooms are open to the roof. The house is associated with Rev. Ralph Cudworth, Curate of Great Wilbraham from c.1647.
