Duxon Hill Farmhouse and

Farmhouse. Dated 1737 on rear quoin, with attached stable incorporating some
fabric of C17 house. Coursed squared sandstone with quoins, stone slate roof;
and random rubble with slate roof. House is double-depth 2 bays, 2 storeys,
tending towards symmetry, with gable chimneys, doorway offset left of centre,
a 2-light casement on each floor to left and a larger casement on each floor
to right (upper, 3 lights, lower altered); and a simple band at 1st floor.
Rear has similar band, 3 casements at ground floor and 2 above; and a 1st a
floor quoinstone inscribed L Stable attached at left
I : M (L = Livesey).

(west) end of coursed rubble at ground floor and random above, with slate
roof, single depth, probably 3 bays and probably formerly single storey but
now 2 storeys, has remains of multiple-light mullioned window under a
continuous dripstone, all the lights either altered or blocked, but one
chamfered mullion remaining; rear altered, but with lean-to porch to house in
re-entrant angle. Interior not inspected but may contain features of
interest.
