Farmhouse. Early C18, altered and extended. Coursed squared sandstone
with quoins, stone slate roof. Two-bay end-baffle-entry plan (entrance
moved) with porch now at right hand end, extension to rear of 1st bay. Two
storeys; blocked former doorway at left end, in line with gable chimney,
gabled single-storey porch at right hand end, two slightly-recessed
chamfered mullion windows on each floor, 3 and 4 lights at ground floor, 2
and 3 lights above. Left gable wall has 2 C19 inserted windows on each
floor; right gable has small single-storey extension, and a 2-light
mullioned window to the attic. Rear has a lofted extension with C19
openings overlapping a 2-light window on each floor (the lower mullioned,
upper a casement), and a small single-light window at mid level (possibly a
stairlight). C19 chimney on ridge, another at left gable. Interior not
inspected.
